Privacy

Short version: we don't ask for your name or email, and your quiz answers never leave your browser except as part of the link you choose to share.

Your quiz answers

Answers are processed in your browser to pick your shoes. They are saved in the results link (the part after the # in the address bar) so you can share it. We don't store them on a server.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies or track you across sites.

Your country

To show prices and shops for where you are, the site asks Cloudflare (our host) which country you're browsing from. Only the country is used, and it isn't stored on our side. If you pick a different region under "Shopping from", that choice is saved in your own browser.

Affiliate links

When you click a shop link, the retailer or an affiliate network (such as Amazon Associates, Awin or Skimlinks) may set a cookie so they can credit us if you buy. Their own privacy policies apply on their sites.

Advertising

If adverts are shown, Google may use cookies to serve and measure them. Where the law requires it, you'll be asked for consent first and can change your choice at any time from the privacy message. You can also manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

Embedded content

YouTube videos load only when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Instagram posts are loaded from Instagram when you scroll to them.

Contact and your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@runshoerotation.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
